Virtual Programming

Virtual NCSY:
Apart But Always Together

The lifelong relationships teens create with each other has always been central to NCSY – which is why we just launched a comprehensive new slate of virtual programming. We invite you to find a class, group, and/or experience that inspires you and join NCSY’s virtual community. Our offerings include:

INSPIRATIONAL FLASH MOB

Even in crisis, we all need our 15 minutes of inspiration. We’ve already heard from some of the most world-renowned personalities: Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz, Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, Mr. Charlie Harary, Rav Judah Mischel, and Mrs. Jackie Bitton. Keep your eye out on NCSY social media to make sure you don’t miss the next one!

BRINGING SEDER TO CHAOS

Let’s prepare for Passover together. Come for the daily inspirational ideas and funny memes. Stay for the daily question where you join the conversation. Visit newyork.ncsy.org/seder.

CONVERSATION STARTERS

All zoomed out? We have some great conversation starters for offline connecting. Visit our store ncsy.org/shop to purchase the NCSY Box, an amazing set of conversation starters for your family or the NCSY Haggadah, a visually captivating and inspirational Haggadah where the best stuff happens off the page around your seder table. Passover giving you anxiety and want something else you can connect with offline? Enjoy our daily QuaranTeen – for a brief Torah idea, an activity, and a recipe. Yum.

KINDNESS BEGINS AT HOME

Do Not PASSOVER Your Grandparents– Most people do not call their grandparents often enough. Additionally, many grandparents originally planned on joining their children and grandchildren for the siddurim and are now unable to. NCSY is encouraging teens to call their grandparents once or twice a week, from now until Pesach, in order to learn the Haggadah with them and make them feel as if they were with you at the seder. The seder is all about telling over the story to your children and now your grandparents will have the chance to fulfill this mitzvah.
